Kelly
Park is a Senior UX designer at Thomson Reuters. She has a graphic design background and heart for improving healthcare experience via design. She graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with Masters in Fine Arts in Arts and Technology and
Emerging Communication. For also holds Bachelors in Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts, NY in Graphic Design
and Interaction Design. She believes in a creative chain reaction: one
inspiration leads to greater inspiration for the design solution.
She wants to
be a mindful user experience designer, who designs from the heart. Her dad
passing away was the most heartbreaking experiences in her life, but instead of
drowning in sorrow, she designed a new visual pain assessment to help others in
pain with limited English proficiency. Her project, the Semiotics of Pain was
selected to be part of 2018 Sackler Student Symposium, 2018 Information
Architecture Summit, and 2018 Innovation and Technology Summit.
